Trying to Sculpt One Handed. Yin & Yang.
I need two strong hands to shape a poem,
Shifting boulders of sound from rock face
To flat ground.
I need two strong brawny hands
That can build castles in firelight and air
That even the shrillest autumn storm
Cannot bludgeon down.
But now I can work with only one active hand,
The other hangs useless by my side
Like a shredded sail in December wind
Unable to hold power in its billowing folds
And drive the project forward.
I need two strong hands to shape a poem,
To shift boulders of sound from rock face to ground.

Wild Garden. Revised. (Photos and Poem).
My garden is crowded with bees - butterflies - moths.
I spray no insecticide, no weed killer; slaughter is not
                                                                        my style.
I just let the flowers grow where they have decided to
                                                                               seed,
I do not plant them myself, they know best where to
                                                                 make a home.
I sometimes do a little weeding, some cautious cutting
                                                                               back,
But generally just leave well alone.
Provided my loganberries ripen I have little to worry
                                                                            about.
I can settle down in the alcove and read a book.
