Through the Camera. (Revised Completed Poem).

Silver white and black images
on the screen.
We translate them back into the reality
that memory proposes
Transforming the silver into several shades of blue,
The white into sun soaked yellow -
and the black into shadows swiftly fleeting.
This photograph is now a truth finely etched
On top of the reality it represents
Like a silk mask covering a dancers face
As she moves to the music of the stars.
We seem to exist in a world of persuasive images,
But life, like a dream scene, sleeps deep beneath. -
A love over flowing .- A dance without pause.
