Swan. (Revised Completion).
There is only one swan on my lake.
A swan with no name on my lake.
Some days she is calm,
Some days she is fractious,
She simulates an image of my moods,
Come darkling hours. Come quiet summer weather.
There is only one swan on my lake.
A solitary swan on my lake.
She swims with the tide.
She swims in the shadows.
From time to time I try to take pictures.
They fade to Trash before I can press Save.
There is only one swan on my lake.
A mute feral swan on my lake.
I hope one day she will meet her partner.
Perhaps one day she will just fly away.
But then the nights will be deep and lonely.
But then the days will be bleak and cold.
There is only one swan on my lake.
A swan with no name on my lake.

(1) Straight Lines.(2) One Line Poem. - Poems and Pictures.
1.
Straight lines repress truth,
Restrict hope,
Wreck the view.
Concrete cities
Built like prisons,
No space to plant a rose.
Straight lines cancel freedom.
Straight lines restrict love.
Rumi taught his friends to dance,
Tune themselves to the ebb and flow
Of Gaia`s heart beat;
Her rain, her sun, her snow.

The Kiss. (Revised).
That night in the bar Time seemed to melt away
Leaving us trapped in an alien space with no doors,
A broken key dangling from my fingers.
I stood tongue tied, once more a schoolboy caught
red handed
With pockets stashed with snowballs, sweets and
grandpas cigarettes,
Both hands trembling for fear of slipper or rod.
"Come here bad boy", you sardonically suggested
As you grabbed my collar and kissed me hard on the
mouth,
As though you had already gained my lands and loot.
This was behaviour I did not expect from a scholar,
Especially someone so lady like and formal
That saying boo to a goose could seem not to be your
style.
Love at second sight had blown all constraints awry,
Leaving us beached on a new shore only we had the
strengths to explore.
