Through the Camera. (Recomposed & Completed Poem).
Silver white and black images
on the screen.
We translate them back into the reality
that memory proposes
Transforming the silver into several shades of blue,
The white into sun soaked yellow -
And the black into shadows swiftly fleeting.
This photograph is now a truth finely etched
On top of the reality it appears to represent =
A silk mask covering the dancers face
As she moves to the music of the stars.-
A wild love over flowing but not spoken -
a dance without pause.
We seem to exist in a world of persuasive images,
But life = like a dream scene = sleeps deep beneath,

Gathering My Thoughts in the Morning.(Revised and Completed Poem).
My life seems bereft of meaning,
An empty space
cold
shorn of shadows
When there is only the phone for
company
And the computer for me to work on.
I used to imagine I did not need other people
In and out of the house
Laughing and romping
Talking the serious talk
Until we fell asleep - our heads on the table.
But all these things are precious beyond buying
And all else is dross.
All things must pass
(Buddha was right about this)
But love and friendships last a lifetime
When rich with understanding
And fearless without regrets..
This phone I too often rely on
when I sit alone in the house
Struggling to read a book
Or straining to find some meaning
In the patterns of light on the ceiling
Is less clear than a crystal ball
When trying to hint at the truth.
Love is a tangible beauty
That technology cannot emulate.
After each farewell kiss
This emptiness is devastating.
